DIY Bath Soak with Essential Oils

We are finally two days away from getting out of my least favorite month of the year… February. (Sorry to any February babies out there!) By this time I am COMPLETELY over the winter weather and am ready for the warm days and cool nights of spring. Now the time has finally come to begin the transition from winter and rejuvenate for the spring and summer months. So with that said I have started to literally wash away the winter with the most wonderful bath remedy, and it features my favorite essential oil lavender.

Here is what goes into it: handful of Epsom salts, 10 drops of lavender essential oil, and a half cup of baking soda. What is wonderful about this combo is that it draws out toxins, lowers stress related hormones, and balances your pH levels. Sit in the bath once a week for 20 minutes and begin to feel the benefits.

Lush bath bombs and bubble bars are amazing and I love them, but they can get pricy. This shows you can get some amazing benefits without spending a ton of money. I will definitely continue to incorporate this into my Sunday evening routine – and maybe experiment with other essential oils. What are your favorites to use?
