Hello? Is there anybody out there? Just nod if you can hear me…

You get it. It’s been a while. Or if you are just stumbling upon this blog in the universe somehow then hello! I am very consistent on here and you are in for a treat! Lying might not be the best way to start off this brand-new friendship between us but I say c’est la vie.

We have lived through a pandemic, I got engaged, I have been wedding planning, and I got a new job outside of the hotel industry. There is a lot of stuff going on here and not much down time. It is officially May of 2022 and I said time was slipping away back in September 2021. Wooof.

So, let’s get all caught up on what has been going on shall we?

Right now, I am two months in to a new job back in the “city” with a commute cut in half. This was a really exciting way to begin the year.

I have also been planning my wedding which is this September which has been really exciting but also just a littttle stressful. My fiancé and I are getting married at a beautiful air bnb that we booked for the weekend. We wanted it to be small, intimate, really relaxed, and most importantly fun. This also means that there are a lot of extra details and a lot of diy’ing on my part. I am totally relaxed! I will definitely share some more details with you.

I think that catches us up to spring of 2022. This next half of the year is going to be one of the best of my life, and I am just soaking it all in. I will try to document as much as possible while also not putting too much on my plate.

That’s all for now. I’m going to get back to my 55 page google slide wedding planning presentation I made for myself. I wish I was joking.
